Hotel Mondschein

Great location for a stay in Innsbruck. Very clean and comfortable. The bar in the evening was a lovely place to start and end the evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Fab hotel just ten mins from train station in the heart of Innsbruck. Stepping back in time but in comfort. Staff were so lovely. No tea facilities in the room but you can grab a coffee in the foyer and bring it up with you. A gem of a place

Only got to stay one night.

Meet receptionist upon arrival. She gave information about complimentary breakfast, the coffee area and much more. Conveniently located to old town, about 15 minutes with suit cases. Many restaurants nearby.

I felt bad, every time in the morning when I came down for my morning coffee, a lady was mopping the floors that I needed to walk on, I am sorry for that.

The location was convenient and easy to access.

The service at check-in was disappointing. The receptionist was unfriendly and unwilling to provide her name when asked. Although we arrived early and understood that our rooms might not be ready, no effort was made to check whether at least one of our two booked rooms was available. The interaction felt unhelpful and unwelcoming. The luggage storage area did not feel secure, as our luggage was left behind the bar in an area accessible to others. Fortunately, nothing was missing, but it did not inspire confidence. The hotel did not meet our expectations for a four-star property. The rooms lacked amenities commonly expected at that level, such as a refrigerator, and there was no room service. The carpets, furniture, and overall condition of the property appeared old and in need of renovation. There was also a noticeable stale smell in parts of the hotel.
