Breakfast was okay A quit place out of town

Sauna world wasnt open! No water in the jacuzzi and No sauna was open or even hot? It didnt say that on booking.com when we ordered. It was because og the facilities we chose the place. From here we had to take a taxi to town. A 25 min. drive in wich we accepted because of the wellness in this hotel.

Most of the mentioned facilities listed in the booking.com advertisement were not available for use: e.g. the jacuzzi, sauna's, steam room, hammam, solarium.

Staff at the restaurant and breakfast were always welcoming and friendly. They took the time to talk yo my son, ask him about his experience from the F1 and made him feel valued.

1. When checking in I paid for parking at a cost of €75. After departing I received a phone call accusing me of checking out without settling my bill, ie the parking. The accusatory tone of the call was neither appreciated or welcomed. 2. The room when arriving was not adequately cleaned. On our first morning there I moved the bed to access the plug socket to find old crisps covered in literally hundreds of ants. On complaining to the reception I was advised the caretaker had left and the receptionist couldn't leave the desk until all arrivals had been checked in. We were left to wait a further hour before I gave up and went back to recepton. On my second complaint a member of staff arrived with a spray of ant killer. Sprayed the ants and then began to leave. When asked if he was not going to remove them he visibly complained and then went back to reception to pick up a dry mop which merely moved the ants around. Every day there was a new collection of hundreds of ants. Having already been told we would not be moved rooms and the incompetence of clearing the issue in the first place I was left to use wet bath towels to pick up most of the ants. The single worst hotel experience I have ever had and not one I would ever visit again due to been bitten throughout the night and constantly finding ants in my and my sons clothes. 3. The shower was unclean and had old grime around the tiling and grouting. The shelf in the bathroom above the sink was loose and unstable for use. 4. Bathroom door provides no privacy whatsoever.

The view on the cost of river from restaurant is nice. Big outdoor pool as well

No refreshement at outdoor pool. Old farniture in room. Really old and used matrace in the bad.

Always a pleasure to stay in this nice area of Budapest. Directly at the Danube where you have a lot of spots to have a drink during the summer time. The gym is also great and the restaurant did never dissapoint.
