Good position, on site parking appreciated. Food very good, with a good menu selection. Spacious and comfortable room, well equipped.
Would have been helpful to have a guest info pack/ folder with meal times and places to visit where our dog would be welcome.

Lovely place in a quaint village. Best pub in town. Staff very good, breakfast and evening meals very good. Lots of off road parking.
The other couple with us were put in a room in the hotel and as far as I know they were happy. My wife and I were put in a terraced Mews Cottage adjacent to the main hotel. There was nowhere to hang a coat, shirt or dress so we had to live out of our cases. Less of an issue was there were no bedside lights or tables so glasses, book, mobile, pills etc. We feel we should have been prewarned about the room.

Dry friendly hotel and a comfortable good sized room.

The property has obviously benefitted from an upgrade in its decoration and had a cosy atmosphere.
The sash windows were broken in the bedroom rendering the double glazing useless. So the noise from the road, (which it sat on) made it difficult to sleep.
Likewise the macerating system they had in the bathroom was very noisy anytime a tap was on.

"Friendly and helpful staff plus excellent food made for a very pleasant 2-night stay. We loved the location and would definitely stay here again. Good value and comfortable accommodation."
