Well maintained, very comfortable

Bar was amazing beautifully decorated. All of the hotel was tastefully decorated with a nod to Beatrix Potter. Grounds were lovely too. Had evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was nice and beautiful view from the dining room. We would definitely return as we really loved it.
Bedroom was nice but didn't match up to how lovely the bar was decorated. I would love to see some new fabrics and soft furnishings/accessories similar to the bar. Be nice to see some flower pots/baskets outside.

Great place to stay with a good vibe to it and we also enjoyed the hawks show in the morning.
All good.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Room was dated and impractical - large furniture that was inaccessible because of the bed. Beds weren’t particularly comfortable and there were some stains on lampshade and wall.
