SONO Belle Bali Legian - Formerly Away Bali Legian Camakila

We had a room right next to the pool and the therefore the bar. It had a great vibe with music and people watching. If you wanted a much quieter to stay there were other areas of the resort to stay. We had our own lounge chairs and normal chairs as we stepped out of our room, so it was the perfect place to read, watch, be online and order drinks. Drinks were well priced and the spa treatments a steal!!! Loved it.

Not much we didn't like. It was a short stay and perfect trip away.

We loved the room size and beds and staff

The breakfast was a let down and I booked 2 rooms under my name and they were separated

Perfect location and staff are amazing

Location is good

Even with a name change the property still seems a bit rundown... There is not much space to lay around the pool, only those rooms overseeing the pool have lounges in good position, the others are too far away. We had a ground floor room and when we walked out our sliding door it felt like there were other guests sitting too close on the lounges out the front. The room is spacious but has wasted space that could otherwise be used for more storage, the bathrooms are very dark and rundown, the mirrors are all badly marked. The breakfast seemed a little more organised than last time we stayed but very overcrowded with tables and chairs and not much room to move around freely. The variety was poor and the new set up with heavy pans makes it difficult to serve from - where do you put the heavy lid or your plate? Also was a far reach to get to the yoghurts, fruit etc and had to lean right across the other food. Spa experience was not quite what I expected, massage was good but late to start and finished earlier than 1 hour as paid. Walked out of our room and other people's dirty dishes were left most days under the stairs, possibly attracting rats which we did see on the property. Too many stairs of different heights, width etc making it difficult to get around. Music around the pool was far too loud.
