All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, I used the gym which was good, good rate for 3 nights
The main issue was that the room was unbearably hot, even with the fan they kindly supplied on request. It was so uncomfortable to be in the room and I didn't sleep well as a result so I wouldn't stay again. Also the bathroom wasn't clean there were a few hairs and a dirty glass shelf and the room service food wasn't great. A couple of things were nice but the rest were cold. It's a shame because the staff were some of the best I have come across and I would have gladly come back on that basis

Close to facilities, good spa
Room wasn’t as clean as it could be.

Everyone who worked there that I engaged with was without fault, extremely welcoming, professional and kind.
The bathroom in my room smelled distinctly of piss.

Good location - value for money
Room was cold - I advised reception and they brought a heater to my room. Breakfast is basic but OK.

Location staff
Heating was on all night in my room and I could not turn it off

Convenient location for resorts world arena, free parking & easy check in process.
We were woken up early in the morning to builders doing works right underneath our window. Really loud & started very early (not very relaxing!). Rooms very dated.

Great facilities, swimming pool area is very nice.
Decent size room and beds comfortable.
Bar reasonably priced & nice atmosphere - didn’t try the restaurant.
Less than a 5 minute walk to resorts world arena.
Staff were friendly, took interest when we got back and asked how the concert was.
Good check in and out times too.
Free parking for people staying at the hotel but they also allowed our friends to stay and park who were going to the concert which was helpful.
8.0
Room was great, swimming pool and spa was a nice treat the night before a 2 day conference. Bar was good.
Breakfast was lovely
Shower pressure a bit ropey (room135)
Not massive room - could have done without the chair (who ever sits in the chair at the desk?) and had to keep squishing past (will try to book twin next time)
Wish it was closer to get to NEC
7.0
Location to the NEC and the parking was perfect. Reception and room all very good and great for our needs.
As we had dogs with us we were unable to eat in the restaurant, no problem, but the selection of food available to order from the bar was minimal and when it arrived the standard was poor.

The hotel was very convenient for the NEC and overall was clean and tidy if a little tired however the bathroom had been upgraded and was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable and the TV was easy to work. Food was excellent in the restaurant and the service in both the restaurant and bar was superb - great staff who are an asset to the hotel.
Large hotel that looks like it was built in the early 80s - It even had a "Mercury Telecom" branded push button phone by the bed and the only power socket was by the TV but none by the bed to plug your phone into. My room overlooked the majestic vista of the A45 so was serenaded morning and evening by the not so distant rumble of tyres. Car park ANPR seemed to be pretty random and everyone was struggling with it.

Room condition. Very tired and not clean.

Hotel was outdated. Staff was not helpful at all

It has a swimming pool. We could get room service.
We had to move rooms as the radiator in the first room was off and the room was freezing. Then moved into another room and it was cold so they sent an oil filled radiator with the wheel missing.
There’s just no attention to detail at this hotel…didn’t send garlic bread with the pasta, there was no milk to make coffee in the morning.

Really comfy bed.
Large room.
Nice pool, sauna and jacuzzi.

Great hotel close to the venue to see Donny osmond x clean, good food, great breakfast ,comfy bed great helpful staff and enjoyed the swim and sauna .
Difficult to walk from hotel to venue safely due to large roundabout so used taxis when in essence it's only a 20 min walk if there had been asafe path .

good location, mediocre breakfast selection.
staff weren’t the most friendly or helpful.

The staff were lovely.
Creaky floor, could hear all rooms around us. Stiff mattress and pillows. No heating. Generally outdated feel. Missing items from the breakfast menu. Overpriced for what it provided.

Location and food
Dated throughout and in significant need of an upgrade

Good location
Some areas could do with maintaining better, rooms a bit dated. Found a rip in the duvet cover and seemed room had only been set for one person as only one glass provided.

Great facilities, nice little pool with a jacuzzi.
Staff were really nice
Great location for NEC (resort world)
Very reasonable price
If I'm being petty, It's a little old fashioned in terms of decor, but I can't say it really bothered me

Staff friendly, room was clean and comfortable and spare bed was already put up in our room on arrival, breakfast was very nice. Morning restaurant staff very happy and friendly.
Leisure pool area was clean and lovely.
Perfect location for train station NEC and Airport.
No mini shop for emergency items. So remember everything! . Closest shop 10-15 min walk.

Although the room was adequate it was rather tired looking in my opinion, some decor rehab needed. At £107 for room and not including breakfast for ilone person rather expensive for what it was.All in all I would say the staff, service dinner and breakfast all good.
Room was a bit cold, blower heating, needed a radiator!!
9.0
Convenient
Good restaurant & bar food
Breakfast not included on this trip. Room decor a bit tired - but very clean

Located very close to Birmingham NEC with car parking. Bar meals available. I did not take breakfast at the hotel as there was a handy Greggs at the petrol station around the corner.
Got confused about Car Park, you have to grab a ticket and insert it sometimes, but other times it recognises your number plate. Internal layout of hotel I found confusing, I kept passing the turning for reception. Finding your way on foot from NEC to hotel was really difficult, the final bit before the hotel needs signposting as it is not obvious. Although not a fault of the hotel, really difficult to get to hotel entrance in your car due to confusing road system. Look out for brown Arden hotel signs.

Clean close to resort world
Location no nearby shops

Good breakfast, clean room.
My door card stopped working, and I had to go all the way down to reception to sort as there are no phones in corridors to contact reception. Once I gor to reception, I had to wait for the manager to stop chatting to a member of staff to acknowledge me and reactivate my card. I mentioned there were no phones, and she said she knew as other guests had mentioned it preciously for the same reason. Shocking that it hasn't been rectified if the problem is known!!!

For the price it’s very comfortable, we chose it for its proximity to Birmingham airport and it was a 2 minute drive away. Bed was comfortable, but it’s a tad dated. Cheaper than a Travelodge, does what it says on the tin
Slightly dated, no air conditioning
4.0
Easy to get to the NEC
There was loud music until midnight most nights, I assume there was some sort of wedding or event downstairs but the music was extremely loud and impossible to sleep in. The weather was extremely hot and there was no fans or AC provided, and I couldn’t open the window because the loud music would get worst. I was disappointed with my stay

Excellent breakfast and a great location
The room comfort wasn't good with very low chairs, replacing of toiletries wasn't done! Restaurant staff weren't polite
4.0
Parking. Beds, tea coffee biscuits, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Breakfasts, quantity and quality and service.
Disappointed no Spa treaments/treament room. Swiming pool changing room not clean enough, one area smelled a bit, 2 out of 3 showers not working propery (this was fixed after I mentioned it)

Position walking distance from NEC (13 minutes).
Very nice structure reminding a Victorian traditional British building.
Lovely staff, was very nice having breakfast with Mrs Jane, a really nice woman who let's you feel at home.
Nice bar for a night drink.
A really nice place to stay
The only very important thing I suggest to the owner is to invest in order to change the tents of the rooms. The ones that are now on the windows let filter all the light and it is really disturbing being awakened by the light at 5 am.
All hotels have decent tents that create darkness, and a sleep without the dark is a bas sleep.
You can do it, it's easy, doesn't cost too much and it will let your hosted rest all night long

The staff was amazing, nice and helpful.
The menu in the bar, the burgers weren't even 2 star level, too simple just a patty and the bun.
