Excellent apartments in a great location for the beaches and easy to get to the town via the cable car

We really liked the fact that it felt like we were staying in a stately home. With so many of the original features left. The magnificent gardens and architecture was lovely .
The fact it didn’t have a lift.

Room was a generous size and the pool and facilities were excellent
Breakfast! For the price we paid, I wouldn't expect to have to make my own decaf coffee by dunking a bag on a piece of string. I'm gluten free and was pleased to see that the menu board showed gluten free muesli but non was available on each of the 3 breakfasts, staff not interested when I complained.

The people and food where lovely
The hotel was run down and worn out.
Needs new carpet and a good clean.
Would not recommend or stay there again
