Brilliant location, friendly helpful staff

Lovely clean hotel in a great location for the Arena. Rooms were lovely and spacious Bar area was great and the evening food was great

Although the staff were great the hotel seemed very understaffed. We had a long wait at check in as there was only one person dealing with reception, and although it was past 4 pm the rooms were not ready. We were given a complimentary drink voucher but again there was only one staff member serving and the queue was very long. Breakfast wasn’t great again only two staff dealing with everything. There were no tables cleared and the buffet breakfast was not really replenished so choice was limited.

Perfect location next to the arena Clean and tidy Nice hotel I asked for a low floor after booking the day before I was granted it . Would definitely recommend

Room decor was lovely. Bed was comfortable. Staff were polite and friendly. Good location.

There are extensive refurbishment works taking place in and around the hotel. We were not notified about this prior to our stay. We were awoken at 5am both mornings with loud bangs outside in the courtyard. Skips were being used:being emptied. We were then kept awake with delivery and work vans arriving. At 9am workmen were drilling in the room next door. When check out isn’t till 11am it is rather inconsiderate to guests to be awoken with power tools. Whilst I appreciate that refurbishments need to happen, it would have been nice to have been notified of this prior to arrival as we would have considered a different hotel in the area.
