Obviously the whole building and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well equipped with everything we needed AND wanted.

We had a spacious and comfortable room with a view of the garden, a huge comfortable bed and a good-sized bathroom with an excellent shower. Staff were friendly and efficient. Dinner in the Orangerie was good and the service was excellent and breakfasts were extremely good, with a wide range of hot and cold and sweet and savoury. Really easy access to Dublin centre by frequent, nearby bus service, though buses only take coin payment unless you get a Leap card.
There was clearly a bit of a problem with housekeeping as our room wasn't ready at the advertised time, though we were given an upgrade when it wasn't resolved quickly. The room was also pretty warm, with only one, partially-opening window, and the air conditioning was quite noisy. The food, though good, was pretty expensive
