Hotel Arcanjo

Good location, plenty of parking and easy to find. We arrived a little early and were able to check in earlier. All staff were very lovely and accommodating. Done up our room for our honeymoon and gave us some chocolates and sparkling wine. 🍾 A few minutes walk to the natural pools for a little swim and its so clear! However if you were to stay, book directly with them rather than on booking. The prices have been put up almost double on here than what their prices are!

Comfortable bed, nice room and good breakfast. Natural pool close by and convenient location for day trips. Parking in the inner yard! Good air condition with a drying function since the air was very humid and even the towels in the bathroom wouldn’t dry otherwise.

Wifi was very unreliable and we were only able to connect to the wifi for a couple of hours on the first day; no wifi the following days on the first floor. With the room opposite the staircase you unfortunately heard people walking and talking in the corridor all night long.

it is nicely located, close to the beach area. The beach is not big and rocky, and if waves, you cannot swim there.

So, overall it is nice area and ok Why is it ok and not good or great? - for some reasons breakfast area is not accessible all the time. I am not asking for anything special but just to make a cup of tea or coffee. We were leaving at 6 in the morning and we were not able to have breakfast or to make just a cup of tea and because there is no refrigerator or coffee/tea making option in a room one should know about things like these in advance, before booking this hotel. Also, there is no options to dry your bathing suits anywhere. We stayed in a room with 2 balconies and there were not a string to dry swimwear after swimming or a single chair or something :) - none

The location of the hotel is very good. There is a relatively big free parking available for the guests. It’s just 2min walk away from the coast. There is a nice supermarket and a few nice restaurants nearby.

The room was relatively small and not very well planned - it was quite uncomfortable with two suitcases. The amenities were quite worn down. The biggest issue was the very high humidity and not sufficient ventilation of the room. There was a very unpleasant smell in the room.
