The quality of room the breakfast was excellent location was perfect

Everything. The welcome. The room. The food. All fantastic.

Comfortable bed, nicely decorated bedroom and good bathroom. Spotlessly clean.

Would have preferred a better dining area, although when we visited there was a ‘wake’ taking up much of the pub so maybe that affected where we could sit.

Lovely bathroom & bedroom. Dog-friendly with no extra charges.

Staff were somewhat offhand at check-in (we were obviously exhausted but no-one asked to carry luggage up) & at breakfast (breakfast put down & a hasty retreat made). Despite being dog-friendly, there was no bin in the garden & we we were instructed to take it up the road to the car park & put it in the bin there. The bed was uncomfortable & the pillows too soft to be of any support. Breakfast - no fried bread, one slice of toast under a mangled & dried-out fried egg. No coffee refills. Check-in after 5pm & check out by 10am - poor. Breakfast 7-9. The road was very noisy - late-night car horns & traffic started at 4.30a.m. Even with the window closed, it was noisy & woke us up.
