Hotel Ryumeikan Tokyo

Of the 4 hotels that we stayed in during our two week trip to Japan, this was probably the best and we had a 5-star experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and fluent in English. We had lost a suitcase during travel and they kindly helped with contacting the airline and ensuring that it arrived promptly. They similarly were very helpful with sending our luggage onwards to our next destination. The room was clean and we enjoyed the amenities provided in the room (coffee, toiletries, pajamas, and slippers). The location is also super convenient, just a short walk from Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace, and close to busier neighborhoods like Ginza.

The room was not the largest; with three people and multiple suitcases there was not much floor space. However, hotel rooms in Japan generally seem to run on the smaller side so this was not unexpected.
