We enjoyed the quirky decor from the novelty of a circular bed! Staff were very friendly and the food was very good quality. Location was brilliant as well – just a very short walk to the Rows.
The couple of lightbulbs that weren’t working in the bedroom – especially in the shower unit. In the bar it felt very cold in the evening with the door open to the garden and at the heating was on as well.

No food being served the days we were there

Interesting architecture and decoration, and it was close to the town centre.
Room had a round bed, which is awkward if there are 2 of you! Staff were a bit offhand and sometimes absent from reception - had to wait 5 minutes a couple of times for someone to turn up. Breakfast was just a pick off a menu so not ideal. Also an issue with the car park discount which I had to take up with Apcoa - they hotel weren't interested. Disappointed overall

"Great location, bedroom was really quirky but luxurious also. Staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely my favourite Chester hotel."
