Local Cave House

The staff were excellent and rooms super cosy with comfy beds.

Everything was great, we would have loved it if there was an option to buy drinks to have by the pool or the rooftop areas. There is free coffee and water… and a small thing for an otherwise excellent stay!

We stayed here on a recommendation from our friends the year before. The location of the hotel is close walking distance to the town at the bottom and also links well to some well known rooftop bars and looks out points. The hotel is really beautiful, even better than the online brochure, with various levels and balconies for varying views. The hot air balloons appear right around us at sunset and it's the most beautiful scene. We were in the triple cave room as we wanted two separate beds. The room was cosy (not cold) clean, the beds were so comfy, water pressure and bathroom ideal. We slept like logs, the room was so quiet and so dark. I loved my single bed in the small cave area. So unique. We also had a huge double bed in the main bedroom. It was really spacious. The staff are all lovely! They were so polite, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. You should book a the transfer for €15 via the hotel as the airport is in the middle of no where. Very efficient transport. Breakfast was included and was a generous spread including cheese, olives, rolls, pancakes, jam/ dips, watermelon and more, with the option for a cooked omelette/ eggs if you wish. This hotel is a one off and very memorable.

Breakfast had three bowls of different olives (all delicious) but would have preferred more fruit and maybe yogurt instead of extra olives. This is very minor and the only thing I can say I didn't like!

Location to the town was awesome! The cave hotel was very quaint and ideal for a party of 3. The staff were super friendly and food was plentiful and delicious.

Local cave house is in a great location, Only a short walk to the centre of town with all the restaurants and facilities. Amazing views of the sunrise balloons from our room. The hosts arranged tours and airport pickups. We would stay again in a heartbeat.
