Fantastic stay at Amaru Colonial! The drop-off area can be a little tight for Ubers, but the location itself is great and the views are beautiful. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We especially appreciated having a heater in the room since it was quite cold outside, and the consistently hot water felt amazing after coming back from our trek. The entire property was very clean, and breakfast was delightful. One thing to be aware of is that there are quite a few stairs throughout the property, so be prepared for that, especially if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns.
We only stayed for one night, but it was such a comfortable and pleasant stay. I would highly recommend Amaru Colonial!

We had a great stay at Amaru Colonial. The location was perfect, only a 5-10 minute walk into the central square of Cusco, and the staff were always very helpful. There were a couple of times when we needed somewhere to store our luggage, for example for our two day trip to Machu Picchu, and they were happy to store them for us. We stayed in a few different rooms throughout our trip to Peru and they were always clean and well stocked. Breakfast also provided everything you’d need.

This is a charming little hotel in the heart of San Blas area of Cusco. We were very pleased with the hotel itself, the security (they always buzzed the front door to let us in/out which felt safe, although the area itself seemed very safe also). The grounds are cute with a beautiful garden. A little scary walking out the front door right into the street so need to remember and watch for cars. The breakfast was GREAT. We especially wanted to call out Meliza and Rita from the breakfast service. They were so pleasant and accommodating for whatever eggs we requested, greeted us warmly every morning and put on a great breakfast feast! You would love staying at this little Inn!
