Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room looked exactly as the pictures showed. The bed was large and comfortable, the room was spacious with sufficient cabinet for my belongings. The washroom was clean and shower pressure was great! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially given how early we (and I'm sure many other guests) had to be up for our excursions.

The soundproofing is not the greatest. I can hear guests next door talking, using the shower etc quite clearly. I was in a room facing the inside courtyard and by the stairs, so even with my windows closed I can hear sounds on all floors. Fortunately the guests slept early and were all respectful so it was not difficult to deal with. If you are a light sleeper, make sure to bring ear plugs.

We had an amazing experience at El Mariscal. We felt very safe as they have 24/7 reception in a secured, locked building and all staff were extremely helpful. Coca and Muna tea is freely available in reception. Breakfast can be delivered early to your rooms which leaves plenty of time for exploring, or otherwise a breakfast/lunch bag can be prepared and taken with you for day trips if you need to leave before breakfast. Staff kept our large luggage safe while we went on an overnight tour, and had them ready in the new room on our return. Showers had good water pressure, rooms and beds were clean and comfortable.

Rooms are not 100% sound proof but this was not really an issue for us, most guests were respectful of this

Lovely staff who were really kind. They offered breakfast to the room which was great.

It’s a very noisy hotel. Our room must have backed into a residential building and school as we could hear people at 12am but then kids around 8am. You can also hear each time someone calls reception. The room can be quite cold as there’s only one small heater which takes a couple of hours to heat up.
