Not to be recommended.

Room was dated and in need of decoration. It was not clean. The toilet didn’t flush properly and a medical sharp was left in the bathroom. The incident was reported to the staff and they said they would make a note of it but they didn’t seem to care or apologise.

We were well looked after by friendly staff

Excellent breakfast, really well cooked. Good choice of cereals and good coffee. The bed had an Emma mattress and was so comfortable.

The "restaurant" is an area off the bar and rather basic and functional

Old world charm in an historic place. Worth a visit.

the pub atmosphere was great with friendly patrons and staff. Food was terrific and very well presented. Room a good size with heaps of goodies including a coffee machine and hot chocolate. Location and parking were excellent.

Very nice stay

Nice clean comfortable room with some nice facilities eg fridge, coffee maker, safe etc.

Superb

A location was great for city centre and parking a bonus. The staff were really friendly and hard working (Michelle was there for breakfast and pulling pints late into the evening, always with a smile on her face). Breakfast was excellent.

Great accommodation.

Great value accommodation. Good size room, with some additional benefits like a coffee machine and small fridge.

Only down side was the location. It’s up a very steep hill (especially on the Riverside Road side)! I found walking up via Clarence Road and Thorpe Road was by far the easiest way to get there.

Location, although in top of a hill is close to city centre. Friendly staff.

Very aged room and lack of cleanliness, specially in the bathroom. Sagging mattress needs changing, very uncomfortable, I couldn't rest properly.

residents slamming doors early hours of the morning not the Staffs fault but maybe can put a sound foam on doors to silence this !??

I had a great night of sleep. The room was really nice and the breakfast was excellent.

It ticked all the boxes and very well too! It was also great value for money.

Comfortable stay in a nice pub.

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms in a friendly pub located a 15-20 minute walk from the centre of Norwich. Good range of breakfast options and a really comfortable bed. Lots of parking and two electric car chargers available for a fee.

Cheap but not cheerful!

Rooms are spacious and bedding was clean. Large car park available.

Poor level of cleanliness. Poor quality pillows. Private party being hosted and my room was right above, would of been nice to be notified in advance.
