The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. The William IV is in a useful area for the train station and the parking very good for those arriving in cars.
There were no comfortable seats to sit and relax and have a quiet drink in the pub itself. The set up seemed to be mainly for pool players.

The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was really good.
I booked it because it was advertised as having an EV charger. Unfortunately there were no cables available but it hadn’t been made clear we needed to bring one (usually public chargers are equipped with one). So that caused a bit of anxiety. The other thing that was disappointing was that the pub itself smelt quite strongly of cigarettes so we chose not to actually have a drink there.
