Have stayed here several times as my brother lives and works nearby so it is convenient.
It is not as clean or as well maintained as it was a number of years ago. Very few utensils/no frying pan etc in the kitchen.

Great location, room size is very reasonable considering the price, shower is good. Staff is friendly to super-friendly.

The room came with an induction cooker though we did not get to use it. The room decor was comfortably modern. The breakfast offered was interesting and the reception team were warm and helpful.
Unfortunately the hotel only offered double beds and I preferred Twin.

Location is nice. Near the subway. That's it.
It all started with the fact that my girlfriend was refused to be accommodated in a room, although she had my passport in her hands. She had to go for a walk without internet while I was busy at the exhibition. Because her name was not in the booking.
Then they refused to let me in without a passport until my girlfriend returned. Then they asked for a deposit for the room, I was asked to withdraw 3,000 HKD in cash. Why do I need the local currency if I then fly out of the country? When paying by card, the return of the deposit takes 1 month!
We were then taken to a room that smelled horribly of mold. Thank God there were other rooms available. Otherwise, we had to smell this stench. When booking, I paid for breakfast.
It turned out that breakfast is offered in neighboring cafes. At the same time, I paid MORE EXPENSIVE for breakfast than I would have paid in the cafe itself on the spot. Also I would not be tied to their choice, but would go to any restaurant of my choice.
Absolutely not customer oriented. The room was very uncomfortable and not well thought out. By paying 30% more I could have stayed at Hayatt hotel or similar. This is worst place for the amount spent you can find.

We really don't understand why all hotels in HK, are still asking for deposit payments even when the stay in hotel have been paid in advance. It's make the check in experience unpleasant. Every where we go except HK there is no such ridiculous requirements. We never ask for any bar in a room or other extras, but all Hotels in HK including 99 Bonham are always insist to freeze deposit amounts. Dear Booking.com, please investigate this matter, as such information is missing during booking and its makes the check-in experience unpleasant. In addition the stuff in Hotel is always asking to wear masks and never offer any mask to us. The pandemic officially is over, and its only recommendation to wear mask for people who still believe its will protect their health but in Hotel we've been told that a penalty of 5000 HKD might be applied if guests are not wearing masks :(((((. Over all the Hotel is great, the stuff is very welcome. Thank you !

Really comfy room, with beautiful views at night. The staff gently upgraded our room for free and tried to help us with all our questions. The included breakfast is provided in different restaurants around and it was really nice as well. It's an amazing option for that price, also wonderfully located. I would come back.

didn’t like the hotels policy couldn’t have my two friends with me in the hotel after 11 pm doesn’t really make any sense

The staff at the reception was extremely friendly, courteous and particularly helpful. It was always a pleasure to come back to the hotel. The rooms were very clean and very well equipped. I would love to come back and can only recommend the hotel with a clear conscience!
