Hotel Regina Elena

The hotel was in a great location. About 10 minutes easy walk from the station, in the central area of Olbia a few minutes from the Corso Umberto, the main street in the centre of Olbia, and located on a small square with a lot of restaurants near by. The bedroom was a good size and the bathroom had a rainwater shower with good pressure. The decor was very pleasant. The hotel had a breakfast room and our room rate included breakfast which was a typical continental one.

It's not that I didn't like this but it would have been nice if the hotel had a small bar to get some wine as it had tables and chairs outside the main entrance and it was pleasant sitting there, However, there was a bar just across the street and a place with excellent wine called "The Wine Club" on the corner of the square.

Beautiful hotel. Owner offered to park our car for us.

Ottima posizione in pieno centro! Staff cortese. Buona colazione(forse).

La reception chiusa tra le 22:30 e le 7:30 in un hotel a quattro stelle non è un buon servizio. La reception chiusa non permette poi di accedere nella hall dell'hotel e quindi non permette di potersi intrattenere lì. Inoltre la colazione viene servita dalle 7.30 in poi. Sarebbe meglio anticiparla (almeno dalle ore 7:00). In un hotel a quattro stelle non è bello che il coperchio del wc sia rotto o che nel bagno della hall (cui si può accedere solo chiedendo le chiavi in reception) manchino salviette per le mani e carta igienica.

You notice that the hotel is a bit out of date for example one has to close the shutters for the shower really carefully, they are that old and fragile they can just tumble out. But instead of fixing this one has to make a 50 Euro deposit in case something breaks. Hotel is quite noisy.
