Room on the ground floor was excellent. Breakfast was a good variety. Did not have dinner, as our daughter lives nearby.
Outside lighting at night was very poor, and reception lighting again was poor.
There was no outside seating, which was a shame. Nice grounds.

We have family nearby and need to stay somewhere with our dogs. We’ve stayed before and knew what to expect which is always a warm and friendly welcome for all of us, particularly the dogs
The decor is tired but doesn’t distract from the welcoming staff and access for the dogs

Was close to my event, breakfast was acceptable. Room was spacious, could do with updating.
The bed was not comfortable, felt old and hard, not a quality mattress or frame.
