We didn't have breakfast

Size of room was great for suitcases. Great bathroom (good looking bath although we didnn't actually use it). Short drive into Winchester. Nice local pathways for an afternoon walk. Didn't get a chance to sample the delicious looking dinner menu.

Lovely country pub. Some lovely staff on the weekend. Room was lovely and so was the food there

Lovely property in good location. Staff exceptionally welcoming/ friendly especially the ladies on breakfast/ evening meal.

Manager / owner whilst mostly pleasant had an unfortunate manner when challenged with the task of allowing paying guests the opportunity of sitting inside 15 minutes before official opening. My 85 year old mother was with us and I’m sure we would have not caused any inconvenience. No cleaning was being carried out in the area despite that being used as an excuse. I had to leave it late ti book and the rate had gone up. Worth the original price but perhaps not £190 a night. Our room was accessed outside. Spacious but slightly disjointed layout. Slight smell in living area. Other members of our party were in other rooms inside the main building which were much nicer. Evening food very nice but portions slightly small and would be nice to have additional vegetables even if options. Apart from that, very pleasant. Comments intended to be constructive
