Breakfast was mostly good. Lovely, well cooked scrambled eggs. Not everyone gets them right. Bacon good and not too salty. Husband enjoyed his full English.
Room (more a suite) was huge with separate lounge area and entrance hall. Large bathroom. Tons of storage. 2 Large televisions. The room was spotless, the bed comfy.
Coffee wasn't great and they forgot my husbands extra toast which we'd ordered the night before, but I'm sure if he'd mentioned it they would have rectified it. We decided to leave it as we needed to get on our way.
Our bathroom faced the road and the window was clear glass. There is a slatted blind which was difficult to close all the way down so it didn't feel completely private.

Absolutely fantastic stay. I felt immediately comfortable and welcome. We booked the small double for a quick overnight stay and it was perfect. Would probably book a larger room if I wanted to stay longer. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. The absolute magic of this place is created by the staff. Everyone is so cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. I will definitely be returning to sample the pottery painting on offer in the near future. Especially as they can post your masterpiece to you. 100% recommend.
