The attention to detail. Substantial offering for breakfast. Location great. Querkiness of the rooms.
No light over the mirror in the bathroom for makeup or man to shave. May just have been our room though.

Unique property. Lovely lighting and ambiance.
Bathroom not functional. Mirror and washbasin not positioned properly. Shower floods whole area. Overall musty small.

Oh my goodness, we LOVED our stay at Il Palazzotto. Our suite (suite 3) took our breath away. Located a few metres away from where the taxi drops you off (a huge bonus given that some hotels are a steep climb up many steps!) Staff were excellent and so helpful in arranging taxis. Great breakfast served in beautiful surroundings. Right in the heart of Matera and very close to many restaurants.
