Exceptional Place. The room was not huge but still plenty big enough. Gorgeous views out the window to the canyon below. The whole place is beautifully furnished. Breakfast was so good, matera bread etc.. coffee was so good. breakfast room was a balcony over the beautoful canyon - really a magical place. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly - so good. Car parking was in a garage owned by Casa Festa 5 mins walk up the road, which was very handy. 20 euro a day but its essential - not much parking nearby and it would be at a charge anyway - and Matera is worth it!! Beds very comfy, shower great etc !
Nothing!

Lovely modern property in a good location
Afraid we found the bed and the pillows uncomfortable.

Exceptional stay in Matera! The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and had a fantastic view over the canyon. Breakfast on the small terrace with the same amazing view was a real highlight. The location is perfect: you can step out of the hotel and start exploring Matera’s historic centre and the Sassi on foot. Our host was incredibly friendly and attentive and provided a very detailed guide with recommendations for sightseeing, restaurants and bars, as well as all the practical information for our stay. Secure parking in a garage was also available. A beautiful place and a perfect base for exploring Matera. Highly recommended!
