The Last Post

The host Steve was really hospitable, nothing was too much trouble, even cooked my egg on my breakfast as i like it and choices of cereals, jams drinks and a friendly good morning. Room was very accomodating, comfy, spotless, mini fridge was brilliant, massive choices of warm drinks even after 4 nights there were loads left. There are choices to get around, we opted for walks into the shopping hub and use the tram near Manchester pub up the street. We would definitely stay again

Not staying longer..

Loved the helpfulness of our host, Steve, he was very friendly, made us feel at home from the start, and makes a great breakfast! The room was clean and comfortable. The walk in shower room was spacious, and the little things like fresh milk in the fridge, bottles of water, and a good selection of coffee/ tea/ hot choc/ horlicks sachets. He even popped to the shop for non dairy spread, as my Sister is vegetarian. He also phoned for a taxi to take us to our Great Niece and her Husband to be's Wedding Venue. Hairdrier, make up mirror, iron and ironing board, all available in the room. Comfy chairs and coffee table. Comfy bed, good night's sleep.

Bathroom was a little cramped, after using shower, as hand basin and toilet in close proximity to the shower, but found it easy to dry off and then get dressed in the main room, with no great diffuculty.

I thought that steve ( the owner) was absolutely brilliant - just the owner a guest house should have - polite, good sense of humour, and nothing was too much trouble for him . he even recommended various places for us to go. we loved it that much that we have rebooked for Christmas. The breakfast was delicious he even asked if we wanted any more tea / coffee, toast.

I was on the top floor, ( there were 3 flights) I have mobility difficulties , so climbing the stairs was a challenge.
