Royal Oakwell Hotel

How they had a pool table and bar downstairs was allowed to put our own music on and they also provided tea and coffee and little shampoos and body wash:)

Was quite noisy on a night which caused me to be in and out of sleep.

The staff were amazing from start to finish. What I would call a budget hotel the facilities were good, tea and coffee. And nice little shampoo, body wash and soap provided was a great touch

Didn't have towels, but our own fault. The rooms are a little dated, but are what you would expect for price. However a few little improvements, updating (tile paint for bathroom) room redesign. This could be very modern very quickly and would happily pay extra to stay here again

Myself and partner and our. 2 friends stayed here for the weekend. The staff members Raja and Sumar where very hospitable. When we arrived our rooms weren't ready so we went for some food and we got absolutely soaked. Once we checked in the staff put the heating on for us and offered to dry our clothes in their dryer which were were greatful. We spent the night in the hotel bar playing pool and darts. The breakfast served was lovely and the place was very clean. The rooms were a bit small and it could do with a refurb but all in all I cant fault the place and would recommend it.

There wasnt much to not like. Only that the rooms were a bit small and tight, but for the price we paid we cant complain.

Good location. Staff are friendly. It was clean. The bar was well stocked. The price was good.

Fairly outdated, could do with modernisation. The mattresses were too soft. The sheets were too small and kept popping off. The TV was on the wall above the bed which made it very hard to watch as there were no seats. The towels were navy blue and hard, would have preferred clean white towels.
