Wittenberg by Cove

Loved the quiet and big enough room for all 4 of us to spread out. Lovely view of canal

Work being done right outside our windows

We absolutely loved our one-bedroom apartment at Wittenberg Cove. The three huge windows overlooking the canal offered a magnificent view and filled the apartment with beautiful natural light. The location is also quite central, during our one-week stay, we walked everywhere in Amsterdam and never needed to take the metro or tram. The apartment was incredibly peaceful and quiet, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was adequately equipped, and when we asked reception for a few additional items and an extra blanket, they were provided without any problem. The highlight for us was definitely the bathroom. The walk-in shower was spacious and well designed, with excellent lighting and perfect water pressure. We also really appreciated the heated towel rail. We would happily stay in this apartment again and look forward to coming back!

The building is beautiful. The location is ideal, close to tram and easy to get to places.

The kitchen in our studio did not have any basic condiments like salt and pepper, or oil.

Location worked and it was outside the "touristy " area, decent pubs, restaurants in walking distance. The view out our third floor of canal was nice while it lasted. Comfy bed and totally enjoyed the free standing fan.

Our view was taken away by exterior painting company. Painters woke us up at 7 am. Plumbing noises...water hammer each time we and others in the garden building used a faucet. The water hammer especially noisy on weekend. Kitchenette under cabinet lights didn't work. The elevator worked our first day and the last day, otherwise it was using narrow, creaking wooden stairs. Interesting spiders visiting us in bedroom! Sparse Kitchenette suppies for cleaning & cooking.
