We were there for Bloody Scotland ( crimes writers festival ). The location was ideal. 5 minutes walk to the venues and town centre. Not far from the station . We went to a restaurant in Bridge of Allan for dinner on the Friday evening. One stop on the train and ticket not expensive.
Hotel was very quiet. Room clean. No traffic noise. Car was safely parked outside. Did not need to use it until we headed for home.
Good choice at breakfast.
Lady on reception when we arrived was very helpful showing us where things were on the tourist map.
Was expensive for one night ( £225 for a twin room excluding breakfast) for one night, but I think that was due to Bloody Scotland being on. Hotel accommodation is difficult to get when the event is on.
Tables in the dining area a bit works canteen like , but being picky here.

The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming & helpful.
The roon was large & comfortable.
The location was handy to. The main shopping centre & the events I was attending.
The food was fine but there wasn’t much choice.
