Staff were great, room was larger than anticipated. Shower was v good. Food ok.. tbh better accomm than was expected.
I picked wrong at dinner, food was ok. Room could do with some tlc. But no complaints at all better then expected

This small hotel was excellent value for money. The room was modern, comfortable and airy, with a decent sized bathroom. The restaurant had an excellent choice of food on the menu. We ate on the evening and enjoyed the Scottish choices. Breakfast which was included in our price was also excellent with the Scottish full breakfast as one of the main choices. However it did offer other choices such as continental.
The location is brilliant for people wanting to explore Stirling offering free parking. The walk to the Castle is a steep one but there is car parking at the Castle itself.
On a final note the staff members we came across at the reception and in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly,

Nothing really .. if anything it would have been good to have a king size rather than a double bed but given the value for money, we cant really complain!

Excellent atmosphere, great room. Staff were superb. Really friendly place where one felt at home. Location is so convenient and the whole experience was first rate. Already planning a return visit!

Good location with parking. Staff were all excellent, friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean. Food was very good. Tea/coffee etc in rooms.
On a busy road so traffic noise. The room, whilst clean, needed a few repairs (water leak, new blinds, sash window restoration). There was only a small double bed.

A bit 'funky'. The reception was located in the bar/restaurant area and it took us a while to understand how to get around. But, a good, clean, comfortable room and breakfast was good. We ate dinner there one night and it was quite good and well-prepared.

Ad un passo dal castello di Sterling ha delle stanze molto semplici ma confortevoli e pulite. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dal ristorante, offriva ottimi piatti a prezzi molto accessibili. Particolarmente disponibile anche lo staff.

The staff here were excellent. Fraser met us when we arrived early to store our bags and was able to check us in. He and the other staff were so accommodating! When they discovered we would be checking out before breakfast was available, they arranged to have a boxed breakfast waiting for us to take at checkout! We also ate dinner at their restaurant and the food was delicious. Fraser again was wonderful and sat us in the best seat in the restaurant.
The room was a little tired, and some windows were lacking blinds. It was an unusually hot day, and blinds would have been useful to keep the room cool.

The food is marvelous, the staff are great and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Travelled with 2 couples to go to a wedding and they had our rooms ready for us when we arrived. Lunch and breakfast were excellent

We oved Chesters and the fabulous restaurant below the rooms. The room was very spacious and very comfortable. We especially loved the old building with it's historic feel - not too modern. Fletchers is also situated within easy walking distance of the old part of Chester with loads of coffee shops and places to eat.

Great breakfast! All the meats you could possibly imagine for a Scottish breakfast, including haggis! It's also adjacent to a giant grocery store if you need food, though the room didn't have a fridge so that was a bit of a bummer. It did, however, have cookies and a great hot beverage selection. Good location coming by train, an easy walk to basically everywhere!

This hotel clearly has people who enjoy their job, lovely welcome and fabulous friendly breakfast service. Rooms comfy and clean. Car oark easily accessible and situated rclose to old town, castle .
The heavy internal doors were a little bit of a struggle with cases but I suspect they are fire doors and rightly so.

Fantastic restaurant, lovely, helpful staff and clean and comfortable rooms. Short walk to the city centre.
Not at all their fault but felt a little nervous crossing that road to get to and from the hotel, especially with suitcases and children! There's no crossing so you kind of have to take your chances. The rooms are clean and comfortable but a little old fashioned. The bathrooms are a bit small and unless I'm mistaken there is no netflix so not great choice of entertainment.

Having parked our car at Fletchers, we enjoyed the rest of Stirling on foot. The staff team were welcoming, engaging, informative and supportive. Breakfasts and dinners were superb, and we enjoyed every minute of our two x two night stays in April. Meals and accommodation were both competitively priced.
