No shower, although we were told our room had been upgraded, it had a bath but no shower, there wasn’t even a handheld on the bath tap.

Great location for what we needed, for the night before a wedding a few minutes away, bed very comfy
Shower was tempermental, went from very hot to very cold with the slighest turn of the dial. Mirror could've been a little lower

Central location to everything and carpark next door. Quirky little rooms.
Fabulous breakfast and all staff so friendly.
The floor in the bedroom hadn’t been swept/hoovered. Toilet/flooring might need replacing as a little pungent.

The Wellington is in a fabulous convenient location for everything in Old Portsmouth.
The bar / restaurant on the ground floor is really clean and welcoming, high tables in the window to watch the world go by.
Just a few steps away from The Hot Walls and views along and across the harbour in one Direction. A gentle stroll along the harbour entrance in the other direction along the refurbished promenade towards Southsea common in the the other.
Our room was a little dated and in need of some maintenance, a broken light fitting, cracks in the wall and window pane.
The toilet was not in the room, it was along the corridor, which we didn’t realise when booking the room.
That said the bed was very comfortable.
