The door was not sound proof at all. Was woken up anytime anyone walked outside the room.

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Elke dag verse handdoeken en bed verschoont in afspraak met het huishoudend personeel.
Fitness, zwembad en restaurant en bar.
Restaurant soms wat beperkt in keuze als je er langer verblijft in het hotel. Het eten zelf is verzorgd maar weinig kruiden en dus weinig smaak. Het alternatieve Indische menu was veel smaakvoller.
ontbijt was prima alleen de zoutvat verdelers waren veel te grof en je kreeg zo teveel zout op je bord.
Op de badkamer waren de tissues en het doucheschuim op, maar dat was pas op de 7de dag van de 8.

The hotel has plainly been acquired "as is" by Leonardo. It's an older hotel with many holdovers from another age. So slightly well worn. But it was clean, the room had a certain retro feel and the staff were very well presented and friendly. I would stay there again.
It's not the most modern and new. Slightly worn down. But not disastrously so. Indeed if you like an 80's retro vibe, it's kinda cool. And the price is fine. The staff are nice. Why complain?

Bed was so comfy. Bathrooms are a bit dated but great value for money. Room well equipped and super clean so very happy. Breakfast was amazing.

Staff were great really helpful and greeted me every time. The bar and the breakfast was good too. Bed was really comfortable. Car park was good too but small, I can imagine at times that people may struggle to park up.
A lot of noise could be heard from the traffic outside especially sirens going past. The bathroom had a lot of mould on the grout and sealants, broken tiles and there was a bit of rust in some places too. Would have expected more from a Leonardo Hotel as it's a lot more old tired and dated than the others I have gone to.

Not clearly signposted so a little difficult to find if you hadn’t been before. £7 a day parking a bit of a joke frankly.

Layout was nice and comfortable; room was clean and appealing; restaurant meals were nice and staff were helpful. Easy check-in (done online) and only had to pop in and pick up the key. Car Park had plenty of room and while a small fee was payable, it was very handy and worth it.

Easy to find. Parking on site. Swimming pool and gym on site and free to use. Good price. Spacious suite. Good food. Complimentary drinks and discount on food. Pleasant staff. Great bus links to Cheltenham and back.
Can’t think of nothing specific but the property is clearly fairly old. Some of the furnishings are worn.

Light and airy with comfortable seating areas. Clean and well appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Very helpful staff especially in the restaurant. The swimming pool was a real bonus.
The room got too hot and the window didn't open very far.

I informed the hotel one of the rooms we booked was for our mum and dad and it was their 50th wedding anniversary. The hotel made them feel so special by surprising them with a bottle of prosecco, chocolates and towels folded into swans. The 2nd night they also left a token for complementary drinks.
We arrived 3 hours before check in but as the room was ready they allowed us to check in.
Nothing was too much trouble, hotel lovely, very clean, lovely staff, breakfast was gorgeous.

Good vegan choice offered minus mushrooms which I love as the delivery had not arrived.
The price and clear communication as there was a few little mishaps such as on early arrival I was told at 10:30 my room was ready which delighted me only to find when I opened the door to my horror it was still occupied
Secondly I email before hand asking if breakfast was included got a message back saying yes and just tell staff on arrival my dietary requirements, only to be asked when paying for parking (which was another surprise) do I want breakfast I explained the above situation and they honoured it but when I got to breakfast next morning the staff had not been informed and I was rather embarrassed having to explain myself bug they were really nice sorted it and made and feel very welcomed

Breakfast was good but more staff needed to keep it replenished.
Spa facilities were good -pool, hot tub , steam room and sauna ( in the changing rooms). They wouldn’t be great for couples but fine for 2 female friends to use. We were given a towel too to use which was a bonus.
Hot drinks coffee machine for bar was broken - was working but they were serving Luke warm latte’s and hot chocolate’s. After a cool latte I sent back the hot chocolate later.
