Marroad International Hotel Narita

Close to airport and shuttle bus is convenient usually quite often.

Bar was closed for maintenance, only restaurant open on 13 floor in afternoon. Stopped serving food at 2pm. Cafe not open. Very handy having a convenience store on site but not well stocked. Shuttle bus wasn’t for 1 hour when we arrived at the airport so we had to get a taxi. We also came across a German couple that had left their passport in Tokyo so could not check in. They wanted to call the place where they left it to see if it was there. I had to lend them my phone as the front desk reception refused to let them use their telephone. That is not good customer service nor is it very compassionate.

It was very good value for money. Everything was fine

We chose this hotel because of its location, which is convenient to the airport and reliably served by a free shuttle (had we known about convenient train service from the airport to downtown Narita, we would have made more use of of the shuttle).

This is an older hotel that's clean and functional but could use some upgrading. Business hours for the gym (evenings only) and bar (selective days only) were not convenient for our stay.
