Casa Isolani Guest House Piazza Maggiore

The room and facilities in general, were impeccably clean and well maintained. The location was well situated and we were able to walk to and from the train station easily and explore the city center.

The air conditioning could have been better. The room was very warm when we checked in and it took a long time to cool it down. We did open the windows but the street noise was too loud, so we had to keep the windows closed in order to sleep.

Breakfast was Italian - pastry and coffee. Authentic

Great place. We had booked the largest room and, yes, it was very spacious, with a lovely side view of the main town square. The windows are well insulated: with them open while getting ready to go out, we could enjoy the atmosphere of the town and listen to the music from the square. At night, with the windows closed, we couldn't hear a thing. Casa Isolani is not a traditional hotel with a permanent reception desk. However, communication was excellent, and they made sure that a member of staff was there both at check-in and check-out. Nor does the property have its own restaurant. Instead, we received vouchers for breakfast at a typical Italian café just across the entrance. So, rather than a lavish breakfast buffet, we enjoyed a coffee and a pastry or croissant alongside the locals before they headed off to their shops and offices.
