We did book the Bishopshill gathering but got moved at the last minute to Gillygate gathering, the appointment was in a brilliant location close to everything, we managed to get in early to leave our bags with was nice as there was 11 of us, 9 young adults with learning disabilities. The staff were more than helpful and got straight back with any questions. The appointment was a good size and clean, everything was easy to use and plenty of equipment, lots of seating. Beds were comfortable, we all had an amazing time.

Just a couple of things, I think for the size of the property an extra toilet would have helped. We did have a issue with the first shower being very hot, we did have to keep testing the water with having young adults with disabilities. When we got there there was another door over a stair gate which had been left open, we didn't realise this to start with and when we noticed it we thought it may have been another appointment but then realized it was a door out on to the street. It had been open for some time until we realized and obviously anyone could have walked in. But saying this we did have a brilliant stay.

Decent size and everything you need

Really lovely property. Perfect location, easy to find. Very clean, well equipped.

Nothing it was perfect

Very easy to check in with a code, good central location and although on a busy road we could not hear any traffic.

The property advertises free parking however, when I contacted to arrange this they informed me I needed to give 10 days notice for a parking permit and I was too late! This was not explained at all at the time of booking. The property was very dirty including mould all over the bathroom. The paintwork in the property is also very tired, which is a shame as its a lovely building!
