Megi is a dream host. The accommodation is cosy and quaint and it really feels like a family stay! We enjoyed breakfast here and relaxing after hiking. The views are the selling point here, they’re amazing. The location is slightly out of the centre which is good as driving here is possible, avoiding the gravel of the centre. There is a lovely walk (short cut) down to the centre which misses the roads and takes about 20 minutes.

We were the ground floor room and could hear every movement from the floor above but this would not stop us staying here again, just a heads up for light sleepers to bring ear plugs!

Friendly owners, great dinner. And the bus stop there if you ask the driver. Family run place.

It is a family run guesthouse and we felt like one of their own family. Mirra and her daughter Maggie are delightful. They cooked us dinner and breakfast and were knowledgeable about the local area. It's so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains. It's only about 15mins from the centre of Theth.

The only negative is it's quite away from the finish of the trail if you're not expecting it. The "shortcut" feels like it goes on forever, but once you get there it's perfect!

We could park in front of the guesthouse. The village was only a 5 minute car drive away.

We stayed in the two-person room with an en-suite bathroom. The room had all the basic necessities, but that was about it. Clearly, there was an issue with the sewage system, as both the room and the bathroom smelled strongly of a sewage treatment plant. We had to keep all the windows open throughout our entire stay just to make the smell bearable. The walls are quite thin, so even turning over in bed can be heard in the neighbouring room. With outdoor temperatures dropping to around 6°C, that was obviously not ideal. The room was already quite cold during the colder days of our stay, and having to keep the windows open made it even worse. To make matters worse, on the second day of our three-day stay, there was no hot water in the shower. So imagine having to sleep in a room that smells like sewage, with temperatures of only 6°C outside, and then not even being able to take a hot shower. If you are staying here in summer and mainly use the guesthouse as a place to sleep after spending the day hiking, it might be a perfectly adequate place to stay. However, if you expect a reasonable level of comfort, I found the accommodation quite disappointing. Most of all, the price is very high. Not only compared to the level of comfort, but also in comparison to Albanian standards.
