It was great being placed in the room next to my elderly mother at the end of the building where I felt she was safe and secure (as per our request). Chef did an excellent job of providing a cooked breakfast as the booking system for this was a little confusing. All the staff were pleasant and polite. Location was ideal and the views were lovely. The bar was a nice and handy place to catch up with relatives.
The beds were clean and comfortable but the rooms had large cobwebs on the ceilings. One room had biscuits and the other did not. We had to borrow a toilet roll from the other room too. Not a problem, just attention to detail could be a little better. We did feel a bit as if our room was not quite ready, but then we had checked in earlier than planned. We did not complain to the staff as this was only a minor negative.

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Location excellent.
Really didn’t like the cobwebs, they were everywhere! Basic bathroom supplies not provided until requested.
