I love this place. Fantastic location on the lake. Great staff. The restaurant is excellent. Rooms are not luxurious, but it's all you need.

Parking was a little chaotic. They did put us in a room that had stairs leading up which is a little trickier with two small kids who they were aware of us having.

Good location, close to train, breakfast was a real experience - beautiful presentation of the different dishes, staff were very friendly and professional, super comfortable bed, gym had a good selection of weights/machines.

Therr was a smoking area located directly below one of the windows to our room which meant we couldn't have our windows open. Hotel staff were using using a trolley from about 6 am in the passageway outside our room as well as accessing the lift.. Because the floor is a hard surface (tiles/stone) the noise inside our room was very loud. Finally, our room had a large skylight in the ceiling There was a remote control which could be used to close a "curtain" over the skylight to prevent sunlight filling the room in the morning. However to our surprise the skylight "curtain" opened itself at 3:30 am and then closed itself again at 5 am without us doing anything. The opening and closing procedure made a lot of noise. Being woken up twice in the middle of the night was not pleasant! I am looking forward to hearing from Sonne staff regarding these issues that my wife and I experienced. We expected a lot more from a hotel of this level and cost.
