Castle Green Hotel In Kendal, BW Premier Collection

The staff were all lovely, helpful and friendly. We asked for a room upgrade and for a small fee got an executive suite which was beautiful. Gorgeous gardens and the breakfast was a decent quality.

We dined in the hotel restaurant in thr evening and the quality was average for the price. We decided to eat out after that. The daily cleaning of our room wasn't very thorough.

Nice bar areas and lovely views. Staff were very attentive and lots of choices to eat and drink

£10 a night car parking charge was unacceptable, absolutely disgusting and just a way of making money. You could tell the staff were very uncomfortable taking the money off you. Based on the amount of people staying they must make over a million pounds a year probably a lot more. They are making an awful lot of money from over priced drinks and other things and I accept that but the parking is not nice. They have a big sign saying if any damage is caused to your vehicle its not there responsibility well it should be if your paying for it . I would like to see if they response to this.
