Stunning location within the medieval city, beautiful views from anywhere in the hotel. Has been kept updated so feels modern without losing its charm. Staff were attentive and really helpful, Leanna and Karl at the bar were fantastic, great service and drinks. William the concierge was lovely and very helpful and knowledgeable. Karina checked us in and was so kind and thoughtful as it was our 20th Anniversary! Room was really beautiful and a great base for exploring or relaxing. Dinner and lunch at La Barbacane was truly an experience, our sommelier was so lovely and paired our drinks perfectly. The Pool area is fantastic and you can order food and drinks there as well. We loved the outdoor bar area and chose to spend most evenings there. It was truly a magical few days.

It’s incredibly dated and not in a good way. We ate in the restaurant, the food was delicious but the service was intrusive and actually irritating. My son was wearing headphones and the waiter actually removed them? It felt like the waiter was almost on stage acting and we should have been his adoring audience. It’s the most bizarre restaurant experience I’ve had.
