The apartment was very spacious, and the entire complex was beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was provided, and having both a combination microwave oven and a Nespresso machine was especially appreciated. The beds were very comfortable with good, firm mattresses, and both the towels and bed linen were changed regularly. A special compliment goes to the cleaning lady for keeping everything so clean and well cared for. The smaller of the two pools was a wonderfully quiet and relaxing spot, sometimes almost feeling like having your own private pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location was very good.

The music around the main pool was often too loud and didn’t suit the relaxed atmosphere of Koutouloufari at all. The food was also disappointing: the hamburger was clearly a factory-made burger and honestly one of the worst we have ever eaten, while even the Greek dips with pita tasted like supermarket products rather than authentic Greek food. When a restaurant advertises itself as “Grill”, I expect a fresh burger straight from the grill, not a pre-made burger dropped into the fryer. After trying the food on the first day, we chose to eat elsewhere. The bar also closed surprisingly early, with the shutters down by 18:00, so unfortunately there was no chance to enjoy a cocktail there to start the evening.

De ligging van het appartement is perfect, je loopt zo het gezellige plaatsje in. De grootte van het appartement was prima

De badkamer was echt onmogelijk, zo klein. Ook was met name het badkamer gedeelte smoezelig en met vieze plekken. Airco deed zijn best, maar duurde wel even voordat je de kou er van voelden. Daarnaast waren er tijdens ons verblijf een groepje jongeren bij het zwembad, die helemaal niet in Sundance verbleven. Dat was opvallend.
