lovely private room just a shame about the noise from a hotel over the road.

loved the private court yard over looking the Creek

the music coming from the hotel over the road was quite loud and kept us awake.

Peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous

View from the room was exceptionally beautiful, peaceful and thoroughly enjoyed listening to the birds.

To be completely honest. I couldn’t find any fault with the property.

Great to explore round Akaroa. Middle of winter, very quiet, experienced both sunny and a rainy day

Thanks for loan of the umbrellas when it rained! Was a bit of a walk into the town and shops and restaurants, but that suited us as we are reasonably fit.

Clean, organised and perfect for what we needed. Lovely and warm when we entered our room with the heating on. Lovely gesture.

There were lots of things we liked about staying here....the friendly owners, our room which backed onto a lovely native garden which was full of native birds, and their beautiful birdsong, the exceptional cleanliness and the quietness. This motel had everything we needed and we'll definitely stay here again when in Akaroa.

Clean, quiet and friendly.

Warm welcome. 10 min walk into town and very quiet. Lovely garden setting at rear of the unit. Great to know laundry facilities available.

There was a motion sensor exhaust in the bathroom/toilet. Annoying that it went on for some time; rather annoying if trying to quietly go to toilet at night.

Very comfortable, clean, lovely balcony, helpful and friendly hosts. Quiet even though it is off the main road. Short distance to center of town.

Exceptional

Loved sitting on the veranda listening to the cicadas and flemenco and salsa music drifting on the breeze from the local bar. The apartment was comfy and provided everything we needed. We appreciated using the laundry and our hosts were so pleasant and helpful.

Location is perfect for walking around or cycling. Loved our stay sorry we could only get 1 night. Akaroa is stunning we will be back.

Wonderful, friendly stay.

Trev, the owner, was an absolute delight. Full of energy and enthusiasm for us staying there. He had lots of information about the town and things to do. The place itself was stunning, the facilities were top quality for such a good price.

Had a wonderful stay at La Rochelle Hotel! Outstanding cleanliness and a lovely location with a beautiful terrace to sit on. The hosts were also very helpful and kind. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back, we certainly recommend a stay here!
