Staff were friendly and very helpful, we were greeted warmly and shown to our room which was comfortable and clean.
We chose to stay in the hotel for our evening meal which was freshly made, a little bit different and original and just what we needed.
There's a great- walk along a disused railway line nearby- worth exploring after a long day on the road.
We thought Road traffic/ people using the pub would be intrusive, but it quietened by 10.30 so was no trouble at all.

Had a fantastic meal on the night we checked in. all the staff was polite and friendly, this carried onto the breakfast in the morning which was superb again staff was very friendly and polite.

The bar area and bedroom was spacious, clean and very welcoming for pets (we have two spaniels). It is a great place.

Welcoming staff and decent rooms. Typical pub menu was good, breakfast ok except for under cooked poached eggs.
We asked for a quiet room. Our room was fine but being on the front corner there was a lot of traffic noise early in the morning.
Bed had a winter quilt- too much in the summer.
