A short walk into town, free parking in quiet street with permit. In Room 4 -beautiful! Has a small sitting room adjoining the bedroom, great if either needed to rest or up in the night you could shut the door, the bedroom and sitting room both had TV’s. Very quiet road even being next to the railway line you hardly heard the trains. Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, they thought of everything! Fab breakfast.
Nothing - perfect!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. Mick, the host, and Ruth, who worked there, were really lovely. Both were very welcoming and knowledgable about the area. We had a home cooked breakfast (and a chat) each morning and nothing was too much trouble. The guest house was very clean and comfortable, in such a good quiet location with parking. We really couldn’t find any faults. If we visit York again, we will definitely be staying go here.
