the location was amazing, 5 min walk to local supermarkets and high street with many restaurants and shops, 1 minute away from the local taverna and the view was stunning!

Lovely helpful staff, very clean rooms. Quiet and peaceful for a young family.

Kitchen could do with a little more utensils and a slightly better hob. Water everywhere after a shower so had a hard time keeping floor dry with 2 adults and 3 kids!

Amalia the manager was lovely to deal with, very helpful and responsive to our requests/questions throughout our stay. She gave us great recommendations for day trips, places to eat & she really made our stay in Corfu memorable. Air Conditioning worked well & was definitely needed as the temperature was above 30 degrees every day. Swimming pool was clean and a good size. Fantastic sea view from our room & balcony. Located within 5 -10 minute walking distance to shops, local restaurants & beaches.

The small shower & curtain were awkward & resulted in water covering the bathroom floor whenever the shower was used.

We were met by Amalia - the most wonderful host who would answer our every question and help us with everything we needed. As requested we got family rooms close together on the ground floor. The rooms were cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed every few days. The swimming pool was exactly what we needed - perfect size to swim and dive for kids and adults + paddling pool for the little ones.

The shower was very small - and the shower curtain was too short so it was hard to use it without making the bathroom floating with water. The bathroom could also do with extra shelves

(+) Location: above the main road, through narrow streets where locals stay during winter (+) Hygiene: daily room cleaning, with new towels, and very high standards! (+) Manager: our host Amalia is very lovely, helpful, flexible with check in/out times, and a good-hearted person who made our stay warm

(-) Facilities: rooms in need of immediate renovation, very old bathroom with tiny shower, the furniture are aged with degraded functionality, the bed is squeeky and unstable (-) Price: considering the poor room facilities & distance from the main road and beach, the room rates are unreasonably inflated

Amalia, the receptionist was very nice an helpful. She is a kind person, she let us choose the room, she changed immediately the pillows with mold, she prepared baby cot for us. She is an assessment for the hotel. She even helped us with car rent information, trips and everything we needed to know The room had normal size. The view from the balcony is woo. No tv in the room but we didnt needed it. The bathroom was old. I liked that they had 'silence program' so we didnt had noice problems. Air conditioner was good. We had fridge and small kitchen but we didnt used it. The pool was a plus and even if they had program was never closed.

The hotel is up on a hill that is very difficult to climb by foot on 40 degrees. The hotel is a little bit far from the beach so is not a good option for baby with stroller. The bad mattress was a little bit to hard. We found that the pillows had mold even if they have been washed you could see it The pool was great but it could be more clean and have new chairs with new mattress.

Its a horrible place which doesnt worth its money.Everything is old and broken in the room.There is no TV in the room.Rooms are very old and need repairment.Cooking is difficult in the room because everythinv doesnt work right or is broken.Plus it is located very high in the mountain.Its difficult to walk there and very difficilt to drive.Very narrow passage.

Everything was on point, the host was very helpful and positive, we enjoyed everything about this place

We stayed at the place for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay ! We rent the room during the low season and the value for money was really good. The location of the hotel is great -you just have to climb up a bit-, but this is what gives you an excellent view ; the view on the sea is wonderful. Moraitika has a many restaurants and shops to enjoy and have a bit of nightlife, while still being peaceful, perfect for holidays. The beach is very close, and we really liked the hotel pool. The manager Amalia was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed, with great advices.

The only thing we enjoyed less was the wifi which was very unstable, it kept deconnecting. I was also working during our stay so I had to use my own connection instead many times as this was not ideal. I guess most people won't care about it too much as they just come to relax. The shower was also a bit hard to manage, taking quite a lot of time to heat up. But overall it's okay, the great benefits counterbalance the few drawbacks.

We had a fantastic week of holidays at Avra apartments. The view from the balcony was stunning and we really appreciated the swimming pool. Amalia was an excellent host - kind and friendly, helpful and always ready to give advice and recommend nice places to on the island.

Location was good, super friendly staff. Really enjoyed being there. Pool was a huge pluss.
