B&B Il Viaggio Bologna

This was an exceptional stay in every respect. The room and bathroom were large, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable with a sitting area for eating and a beautiful kitchen area. There are numerous plates, cups and utensils for your use and best of all the kitchen was wonderfully stocked with not only waters but milk, butter, yoghurts, snacks of all sorts of cookies and crackers, and numerous pods of different types of coffees including cappuccino, mocha, chocolate, espresso, etc. This all was complimentary. I was like a little kid just checking out all of the goodies. The host, Roberto, really knows how to make a place special. And this place is truly special. In the evening you order what croissants you want for the morning and they are brought, warm from the bakery, to a basket near your door . Roberto was wonderful coordinating with me when I arrived, explaining everything I needed to know about the property and my room, taking up my luggage for me, and offering to call a cab for me the next morning. He is a gracious, organized, proactive, and lovely host. There are books including tour guide in the lovely common areas and Roberto even has out a big basket of candies, The apartment is about 15 minutes from the “main square” but it is a lovely stroll. It is in a safe area for walking and I had no problems walking home at 11 PM. I would highly recommend this apartment.

Nothing at all. I would definitely stay here the next time I am in Bologna. However, if you cannot walk up stairs, this may not be the stay for you.

The B&B is beautifully maintained with attention given to every detail. After the hustle and bustle of the busy streets it is a quiet sanctuary. Perhaps most significant is our interactions with Roberto. He was kind, friendly, accommodating and made us feel cared for, welcomed and comfortable. He knew we were early and invited us to check in first thing when it happened the room was empty the night before. He took time to show us the details of the apartment. He helped us figure out how and where to watch the Giro dell'Emilia. He kindly did all our laundry care.

Nothing. We loved it.

Roberto was amazing and the property was in a great location and very nice!

Piano alto con scale vecchie e sconnesse. Davvero complicato portare su i bagagli. Il quartiere specialmente di sera non dava l’idea della sicurezza. Se ci si aspetta il centro rimane un po’ defilato.
