Nice spacious apartment, with nice coffee and facilities. The location was good and easy to get into the hub where bars, restaurants, and park is. There is Washing machine facilities outside of the room which is not on the facilities of the room. This would have been nice to know.

The bed! The mattress was fine, but that steel frame needs to be changed. Every time one of you turns around during the night, the other one wakes up due to the horrendous squeaking of the steel frame.

The apartment looked good online and we booked it for the central location in Beacon Hill, Boston. The location was indeed excellent. Sadly, this was the only positive about our experience.

Pretty much everything could have been better. First, we were charged for the booking immediately after it was made (in contrast to most booking.com ones where a booking is simply secured against a credit card). Next there were hidden charges (for taxes and a cleaning fee) not indicated on the booking (so, quite misleading). Then were were spammed with at least 50 emails from Sonder, the property management company, about checking in (this started 4 months before we were due to check in...). I requested an early check-in (1h earlier), and 4 months later still had not received a response from Sonder. On arrival the passcode did not work, so we could not get into the property, requiring us to make various international phone calls to get through (and get into the apartment). The internet did not work for 2 of the 3 days we were there. When I requested a late check-out (1-2h), the request was denied (even though we were told by a staff member that there was not another booking for the same day)...Overall, a highly disappointing experience and one I would not recommend to anyone! Stay away from Sonder, a faceless organisation clearly not responsive to the needs of their guests.

there was a wardrobe gor hanging clothes but a distinct absence of drawer space (despite space for a chest of drawers in either bedroom or anti-room) Also no storage space in the bathroom, a shelf could easily be fitted above the sink ( I had to put my make up on the fireplace mantle in the sitting room!)
