PARKROYAL on Beach Road, Singapore

Breakfast buffet was varied and excellent in quality and quantity. Beds were comfortable and rooms are very clean. I really liked the bathroom products, the body moisturiser in particular was very nice. Staff were also especially accommodating and friendly. We were initially given a room that faced the main road and we found it a little too noisy for us, yet the reception staff kindly allowed us to change rooms despite it being a full hotel due to several wedding functions happening. All the staff were very friendly and professional and are a credit to Park Royal on Beach Road.

We could hear our neighbours from other rooms, so sound insulation is a bit of an issue.

The room was big

Honestly i wouldn’t stay here if you need to use a stroller. They had steps and was reluctant to help you with strollers even when you’re kid is staying in it sleeping. We have never been to a hotel location without a ramp and was a bit shocked by this. My kid was in the stroller my baby proceeded walking up and almost on the top he fell down the steps whilst I’m trying to carry my kid and the stroller. Honestly such a bad first impression. And then we come out and see the foot bridge over to the shops and eatery is steps only again. This being said the cross roads and red lights aren’t super far from either end but my husband twisted his ankle so this was just adding to our bad experience. There are super easy buses to catch just outside into the city/ Chinatown area so it’s not all bad. Not entirely the hotels fault but a ramp that doesn’t require long wait and multiple people to operating is a bit basic for 2026.

Good gym and nice pool area Joseph in the club lounge was very friendly and helpful

Breakfast was very busy and messy - the staff were doing their best but I would recommend going elsewhere to eat - it was packed with screaming kids and the food was average There was a really unpleasant smell a couple of times in the room (like sulphur / rotten eggs) which only went when I turned the aircon right down Couldn’t use the facilities (pool) after checkout
