Great service, great facilities. It’s a total immersion into the local culture. Dinner was awesome, the onsen was great too. It’s a walking distance to the train station although they also offer a shuttle pretty often to accommodate everyone’s needs

I love it so much about this hotel. Clean, comfortable and with a good view, even I’m not booking the direction face to Mount Fuji, the lake view is also good. Onsen in the hotel is good as well. You can book the private onsen in advance to enjoy your own time in there without any other people. There is also all the facilities that you need in the hotel, free ice ,dryer machines and washing machines etc. Lobby lounge also have the wine vending machines, you can purchase a card for the tasting vending machine, there is wine, beer and sake options. I enjoy the breakfast so much! I try most of it with a small portion, sounds funny but I like the different sides dish.

We not use to tatami style bedroom, so all the furniture is kind of low to match when you seat or dine on the table. For someone tall might felt difficult to move around in the room🤣 For experience wise it’s good to try.

Great amenities, very convenient location about 10 minutes away from the hotel. Food was fantastic for both breakfast and dinner. We had a very friendly employee who served our dinner in the room.

Onsen was great – combination of outdoor and various indoor one with massage chair. So relaxing The lake wiew was great Nice bathroom area (spacious with chairs)

First of all, the staff – I feel they had a lot of beginners who were very nervous (and I felt so sorry for them) and lack of coordination somehow. Second, just the general feel of the hotel (expecially comparing to other ryokans I stayed at) – felt detached, plastic in a way. Like you see it is nice, but no warmth or what.... Third, the food – while it looked amazing – was ordinary in taste somehow...
