Great host. Comfortable and budget friendly stay

my little hut was really nice and i loved the terrace in front of it. it has everything you need and was very clean. the owner is so nice and the breakfast was exceptional for the price. it even was enough food for me to eat for lunch as well :)

i was looking for some more quiet days so I loved the remoteness/privacy this place offered :) however, solo travelers looking to meet many people might be better off closer to the center.

Room is basic but does have everything you need, it's clean, there is a fan, mosquito net and warm water in the shower. Owner is very nice and is willing to help you with everything. Bungalows are close to the main street (by foot less than 10 minutes) but it's quiet over there. Nature is all around you. Monkeys play in the trees. Owner makes a nice breakfast every morning. You have your own little balcony where you can hang around.

Bed was a little bit small (I am 1.83m and my feet didn't fit in bed) my wife didn't have any problems. The heater of the shower use a lot of energy and because of that the light in the shower goes on and off.

Clean and lovely rooms with a little terrace in front of each. Quiet, clean and well located. The host is totally amazing and so are the breakfasts. 5 mins walk from the centre. Like all places in Ella you'll be needing your phone torch for the way home from town as not everywhere has street lighting. If your budget alows, the deluxe.room is the best room.

The property itself was satisfactory in all respects.

The final approach road to the property is narrow and steep. We have to climb a few steps to reach the room and no lighting provided for the steps

- Many bugs/lizards in the room. We actually found a big beetle in our bags while packing. - Bathroom is not well equiped, and doesn't dry easily. - Overall, pretty moist room. Basic comfort, no more. - value for money ok in view of the price.

Green Lantern has a really good location tucked in nature and in town of Ella. Breakfast is amazing, I am able to go back in a healthy options such fruits and home made foods. The owner is very approachable, and helpful in arranging my trips (tea plantations, lankan cooking class just his neighbor and the elephant national park and bus schedules.)

Communal water station would be ideal to have in the future. This is to limit water containers consumption that the guests are buying from groceries, as part of sustainable tourism.

What a great place! On the edge of the center and surrounded by greenery. Nice clean, spacious room and lovely hot shower. The host is very friendly and answers all questions. He also provides a fantastic and extensive breakfast. During that breakfast on your balcony you can enjoy the monkeys playing in the trees in front of you.

Cozy place, not so far from main street with shops and bars. I definitely love the bed and fluffy blanket - was sooooo good to sleep! Considering my room didn't have particularly window ( physically there were, nut with a great view on the ground wall) It was made to sleep.

Nothing bad about place, just some considerations Next time, I will definitely prefer the room with a lot of windows - it looked very nice. Might be it was wrong choice to book room with breakfast as it limits your timings, if you are there for several days to walk around - morning is the best time to walk, you can grab something around at more suitable time. btw Breakfast simple and same every day (( that was a little boring.

A very nice place to stay in Ella - it is surrounded by nature and a little sheltered from the bustle and noise of the city, although close enough to everything. The host is very kind and helpful, and the breakfast is amazing. I recommend this place without hesitation!

1. If you hav an SUV parking is a trouble and then you need to carry ur bags along the stairs to the room 2. No generator.. so if it rains heavily there wid b power cuts 3. Pls carry mosquito repellents 4 No facility for food at the hotel except for breakfast 5. Breakfast becomes repetitive everyday
