The location is extremely quiet for Paris and well appointed to get connected to the center of the city - within 30 mins to Opéra. The host is very communicative and enabled me to check in early which was a lifesaver as I was scheduled for a busy weekend for business. I loved all the extras put in place such as a loofah in the shower, tea & coffee as well as AC. The room was spotless clean and comfortable.

Despite the amazing breakfast with fresh mini croissants, fresh fruit salad, crepes, toasted bread, muesli, yoghurt & luxury tea selections I missed savoury options. Everything is on the sweet side only (honey, jams, etc.). Boiled eggs, cheese or cold cuts would have been nice for someone on a low sugar / higher protein diet.

Beautiful property with a wonderful host in a great location (residential area of Paris). 100% recommended. Property was easy to find with instructions from the host. The host is very friendly has put a lot of love and thought into the rooms and the stay. Room included a small bar fridge even though it is not on the Booking description. Remember in Europe the shutters are on the outside - close them to block out the street light completely. The room included a main light switch which also turned off the lamps - ensure you plug phone chargers etc into the power points that aren't turned off by the main light switch. Bathroom and shower was large - even with little face mirror too. Breakfast was delicious selection of cereal (Special K), muesli, fruit salad (a Macedonian if you are from Italy) orange juice, croissants, baguettes (delicious toasted) and a selection of jams and Nutella, along with fresh coffee. Sometimes with crepes, waffles or a Madeleine. If you need early breakfast or check-in ask early - our host was able to accommodate our request. Close to "Convention" Metro station - every thing in Paris was very accessible within less than 30min (inc Montmartre). Within 5 min walk of a selection of restaurants, KFC, McDs, laundromats. There was a place called Sweets Paradise (ice creams and milkshakes) in a street nearby - open till late.

The cobblestone street that leads to the building is challenging for suitcases with smaller wheels (may be 15-20 metres from the street to the front door no big deal though. There is no elevator so guests need to carry bags up the narrow stairs. The Booking pictures show the courtyard however we were not allowed to access it. A second set of keys would be helpful in case one person wants to come back at a different time to the other. The soundproofing is not perfect - we heard people coming home late, foot steps from the apartment above and them dropping things. We were up so it wasn't an issue.

The property was exactly as it was published. It was beautiful. We were comfortable and it was just a quick walk to some restaurants. The photos are of my son and his girlfriend. It was her very first trip to France and we had the perfect French breakfast to start it.

The property is on an inaccessible alley, so that was a little confusing when we were trying to find it. But the owners were available and helped us the entire way. Not really a complaint.

Comfortable well air conditioned clean bed room en-suite. Either-down as in bed clothing was clumsy and heavy.

It was market to look like a hotel. It turned out to be a B&B with no reception, lobby or lounging/sitting area.
